Genuine Oliehoorn curry BBQ chicken skewers
What do you always have in the house? Oil horn curry, of course. This delicious sauce is ideal for marinating these barbecue chicken skewers. It is easy to prepare but very tasty!
Ingredients for 5 chicken skewers
350 grams Chicken breast (or chicken disc fillet)
1 red onion
200 grams of pineapple
6 tbsp curry, Oilhorn
1 tsp sambal
Sprig of mint
Pepper and salt
Here's how to make it
Dice the chicken breast and marinate in the curry and sambal. Set aside in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Turn on the bbq to 160 degrees.
Dice the pineapple and cut the onion into wedges.
Make the skewers by alternating chicken, pineapple, onion. Season with a pinch of salt and some pepper.
Grill the skewers on indirect heat of the bbq and preferably with a lid, in 20 minutes alternately golden brown and cooked. Check when the chicken is done, then you can serve the skewers immediately.
