It's burger day. The burger has a Spanish touch because of the chorizo and the aioli you make yourself with grilled peppers, mayonnaise and garlic. Is your mouth already watering?
Ingredients for the burger
350 grams of coarsely ground beef mince
200 grams of chorizo
4 hamburger buns (brioche)
5 tbsp. Oilhorn mayonnaise
1 clove of garlic
200 grams grilled bell bell pepper from jar, drained
1 red onion
2 small pickles
1 to 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 egg yolk
Lettuce, such as curly lettuce or Romaine lettuce
Slices of chili cheddar
Pepper and salt
Here's how to make it
Put 80 grams of grilled bell bell pepper (drained well!) with the mayonnaise and a clove of chopped garlic in a tall bowl. Puree this with a hand blender until smooth. Then put the mixture in the refrigerator.
Cut the chorizo into small cubes of 0.5 by 0.5 centimeters. Fry this in a frying pan until crispy and let cool. Mix the minced meat with the diced chorizo, egg yolk and breadcrumbs. Form 4 burgers with your hand from the mixture and place in the refrigerator for a while so they can become firm.
Cut the remaining grilled bell bell pepper into strips, the pickle into slices and the red onion into rings.
Fry the burgers in the skillet with the fat from the chorizo until done. While frying, season with salt and pepper. When you flip them, put the slices of cheddar on the burger, they will melt along with the heat of frying.
Halve the buns and fry them briefly in the pan on the inside as well.
Top the buns with the bell pepper aioli, lettuce, burger, the grilled bell bell pepper and pickle and top with some more aioli and lettuce if desired. Top with the caps of the buns and your burgers are ready to be eaten.
